What is the Chemistry Student Safety Committee (CSSC)?
We are a student-led safety committee established to improve the departmental safety culture through various student-led initiatives. Composed of two members elected from each of the primary chemistry divisions, we aim to provide resources and a space where students can learn and discuss laboratory safety.

Our Mission
Promote Chemical Safety and Health
Serve as a resource to provide information on mental and physical health and health awareness to students of this department.
Educate on Chemical Safety
Host presentations and discussions on matters that pertain to the laboratory safety of the department.
Provide Resources
Serve as a liaison to the public by providing up-to-date information on laboratory safety and answering any questions.
